  Hello, my name is Diego, and welcome to my blog! I learned that the designs in monograms have personal significance to the individual as in having their initials in the design. It must also be aesthetic, and colors can be used for specific emotions. I have employed my knowledge in my design by making a design that is trendy. This monogram looks like Louis Vuitton, YSL, and so on. My challenge was thinking of a design that looks pleasing to the audience and looks professional. I overcame these challenges by looking at other famous monograms as inspirations.

What I have learned about the importance of typography to the graphic design profession is that typography helps deliver a message and draw attention. One of my favorite fonts is Old English. This is a gothic type of font, and I like it because the letters look cool to me with all the sharp ends and the thicker and skinnier areas of the letters.
